I’ve been meaning to write this for a while. Callejero Perdido is almost here. It’s a bachata track, but at its core, it’s a snapshot of a feeling I didn’t quite expect to have.

A while ago, I caught a crush. It wasn’t deep or long-lasting, but it caught me off guard—because it reminded me how closed off my heart has been. After a five-year relationship that ended, I made a quiet decision to be single for five years.

I guess I worried that I would lose myself in someone again -- I thought if I can give 5 years to someone else I should be able to give 5 to myself.

Anyway.. when this crush showed up It was sweet, brief, and slightly painful. The song came from that spark—not so much about the person, but about the inner world it exposed. The walls I built. The ghosts I carry.

Callejero Perdido is a reminder that Wherever you go... there you are. Its a romantic projection of what could have been had I met this crush at a different time in my life.

This song is for anyone who’s still carrying someone in their mind. Still haunted, still healing. You’re not alone in that.

I’ve been working on this project solo—building the brand, the site, the visuals, all of it. But the energy I’ve gotten from friends about this release has been encouraging. Thank you for being patient.
